A mobile herd with a big heart
Mini Highland Events was built around a simple idea: the magic of meeting a miniature Highland shouldn't only happen if you drive to a farm.
[EDIT — founder story] It started with two fluffy faces and a love of sharing them. Buttercup and Snowy aren't props — they're gentle, well-handled boys who turn an ordinary celebration into the story everyone tells afterwards.
Victorian weddings and events already have the views, the vines, and the venues. What they didn't have was a way to bring miniature Highlands to the aisle, the garden party, or the golden-hour portraits — without asking guests to leave the celebration.
So we built the mobile model: we travel to you across the Yarra Valley, Macedon Ranges, and Daylesford regions, with a handler, setup, and boys who are used to soft hands and big smiles.
Why mobile matters
Destination farm experiences are wonderful — but they ask your guests to go somewhere else. We bring the experience to your venue, so the boys become part of yourday: the photos, the laughter, the unexpected moment between ceremony and canapés. There's no direct local competitor offering this travelling miniature Highland hire model in our regions — and that novelty is exactly the point.
